Schedule: 2nd shift - 5:30pm -2am Sunday - Thursday,Contract : 11months
Key points
• Bachelors of Pharmacy or PharmD degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
• Licensed as a PHARMACIST in state(s) of practice -Ohio license
• Ability to participate in Federal prescription programs
• 3 or more years experience in a high volume community or mail order pharmacy practice environment preferred.
Duties
• The Dispensing Pharmacist registered Pharmacist who is responsible for the accurate and timely dispensing of prescribed medication to patients.
• The Dispensing Pharmacist work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.
• The Dispensing Pharmacist ensures adherence to quality assurance standards, accurate tracking techniques and a review process prior to shipping medications to patients.
• Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas.
• Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed.
• Follows established guidelines/procedures.
