Strategy Execution Consultant - Director & Senior Director Levels

What Youll Do at BTS BTS is a consultancy specializing in the people side of strategy. As a Strategy Execution Consultant at the Director or Senior Director level, youll work directly with leaders from the worlds leading and largest corporations. Youll learn how their strategies and businesses work, and youll shape capabilities across the organization. We work in small teams to develop designed experiences - think customized business simulations with financial models, or app-based digital learning, then we facilitate these engagements with our clients in working sessions that incorporates humor, fun, and competition. Youre the team leader and client manager as well as the facilitator and coach who makes these experiences impactful and memorable. There are no industry verticals at BTS, and you will work with a variety of clients on different types of projects. Youll be staffed on multiple engagements at one time, across different industries, and with different internal teams. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work across our companys areas of expertise: Strategic Alignment, Business Acumen, Sales & Marketing, and Leadership Development. When youre not facilitating an offsite with your team, youll spend your time leading the team in designing these amazing experiences - interviewing clients, conducting research and analysis, testing programs, and learning as well as finding and closing opportunities to expand BTS work with existing clients or bring our impact to new clients. As a Director or Senior Director at BTS, a significant part of your role is to be an entrepreneurial-minded business generator who drives results and revenue for BTS. Project and account leadership are also important components of your work at this level, as well as being a manager and growing the careers of other BTSers. We have a hybrid work environment with expectations of being in the office 50% of the time when youre not traveling. As for travel, we do that differently than most consulting firms: youll travel when you are leading clients through the designed experiences you and your teammates create. On average youll travel 30-50% of the time, occasionally more than 50%, occasionally less than 30%. Experience and Background Requirements & Preferences: * Bachelors degree, or equivalent experience * Minimum ten years' experience in consulting, or 15 years of work experience in a relevant industry * Proven experience in a revenue generating or account management consulting role as well as in project leadership * Demonstrated ability to build, expand, and sustain senior client relationships * Established network with decision-makers; ability to leverage existing relationships to open doors and create new opportunities * Eligibility to work in the US permanently without sponsorship is required Required Skills and Capabilities: * Business and Operational Acumen * Uses business and operating model knowledge to position all BTS client work * Translates client operating model insights to solutions and services * Problem-framing and Developing Insights * Frames the essential client problems with the client * Catalyzes client and project related insights * Communicates insights related to the broader org outcome that goes beyond the scope of the current project * Client-Ready Communication & Relationship Skills * Uses productive dialogue to challenge the clients assumptions in a respectful way * Synthesizes complex client or team conversation progressing the topic * Delivers difficult messages to the client * Suggests ways the client can be more successful * Accountability to Self, Team, and Clients * Claims accountability for delivering client outcomes, value, and quality * Innovates approaches that include the client and key stakeholders in meaningful ways * Scopes projects accurately and identifies the right project skills * Plans and executes complex projects * Identifies and takes smart risks in developing others * Teaches great project leadership values and behaviors and acts as a safety net for project leaders * Makes it safe for each person to ask for and give feedback * Facilitation of Client Sessions * Leads engaging, impactful client workshops, working sessions, and offsites- bringing BTSs designed experiences to life Salary Information Annual Salary Range: $170,000 - $210,000 * This range is for Director and Senior Director level roles. Starting salary is determined by experience and education/degree level
