Key Responsibilities\n

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will undertake a variety of essential functions, which include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting thorough psychosocial assessments to identify client needs and inform treatment planning.

• Implementing individualized treatment plans under clinical supervision, adhering to state guidelines and ethical standards.

• Maintaining meticulous and contemporaneous documentation, including treatment plans, daily progress notes, and discharge summaries, while ensuring confidentiality.

• Facilitating and leading psychoeducational support groups focusing on perinatal mental health and other relevant topics.

• Engaging collaboratively with a multidisciplinary clinical team to coordinate care and address clients’ social service needs, establishing connections with local agencies and resources.

• Conducting individual counseling sessions with clients and collaborating with family members and other stakeholders as required.

• Participating in staff meetings, case conferences, and training sessions to enhance knowledge and contribute to best practices.

• Initiating outreach with potential referral sources within the community to increase intake referrals and enhance service provision.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will primarily serve a diverse clientele facing a variety of mental health challenges. Your expertise will be crucial in supporting individuals during pivotal life moments, particularly in perinatal mental health, addressing conditions ranging from anxiety and depression to more complex trauma-related disorders. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A clean professional background with no history of medical malpractice claims, verified by a third party.

• Authorization to work in the U.S.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in a community health clinic or similar agency is preferred. Familiarity with telehealth practices will be advantageous, as will prior work involving collaboration with volunteer staff, interns, and community organizations to enhance service delivery.

Compensation and Benefits\n
