About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day or Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 1 year experience License: Valid state or compact RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Candidates must be able to pass the telemetry test. Description: PCU position available for RNs with experience in progressive care. 1 year of nursing experience is required. First-time travelers are welcome to apply, but their profiles will need management review if they have only 1 year of experience. Candidates must have telemetry experience. Floating to other areas may be required if the home unit is not needed. Weekend shifts are expected every other weekend. Patient ratio experience will be considered during the assessment. Candidates should have experience with telemetry monitoring, both unit and remote. Essential skills include managing dysrhythmias, IV management, and wound care. Collaborative interdisciplinary support is available within the unit. Additional duties may include administering blood products and utilizing rapid response teams. Two professional references are mandatory, with one from a managerial or supervisory position. Education must be from an accredited program.
