Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Strong cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation skills Telemetry experience Experience with IV insulin protocols and insulin drips Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Step Down specialty. The nurse will work night shifts consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week. Candidates should have a minimum of one year of nursing experience. Previous telemetry experience is necessary. Knowledge in IV insulin protocols and proficiency in insulin drips are required. The nurse must demonstrate strong skills in cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation. Patient diagnoses include individuals with active oncology treatment and other conditions such as COPD, sepsis, and pneumonia. Ability to float to different units as needed is required. Every other weekend shift is mandatory. Candidates are required to adhere to safety protocols and isolation precautions.
