About the Position

Candidates must have a minimum of one year of experience. First-time travelers will have their profiles reviewed by the manager. Floating to other facilities may be required. No commute is needed as the alternate facility is within walking distance. Candidates should possess certifications in BLS and ACLS. NIHSS certification is also required. Experience with IV starts and telemetry management is essential. Familiarity with Epic charting system is necessary. Weekends may be required based on unit staffing needs. Candidates should be comfortable managing a patient ratio of 3:1. The unit supports a variety of patient diagnoses, including step-down and PCU-type patients. Interdisciplinary support is available from various teams including respiratory services and pharmacy. Professional references are required for application. Travelers must complete all credentialing processes promptly. Responsive candidates are preferred to avoid delays in the hiring process.
