About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PCU Float Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 1 year License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: IV Start experience Telemetry experience Epic charting experience Description: Position available as a PCU Float Nurse. This role requires a minimum of 1 year of nursing experience. Candidates with only 1 year of experience will undergo a profile review. Float pool assignment may require adaptability to various units. No commute is needed for floating to nearby facilities. Candidates must possess relevant certifications. Skills in IV management, cardiac telemetry, and patient care are essential. Weekend shifts may be required based on staffing needs. This position will involve caring for step-down and PCU-type patients. Interdisciplinary support teams are available to enhance patient care. Proper management of various procedures and equipment is expected. Candidates should be prepared for urgent credentialing processes. Two professional references are required. One reference must be from a formal leadership position. Current employees are not eligible for this travel assignment. Education must be from an accredited nursing program.
