About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PCU Float Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required License: Valid state license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Candidates with only 1 year of experience will not receive auto offers. Their profiles will need to be reviewed by the manager. Description: PCU Float Pool position available for night shifts. Candidates must have at least 1 year of nursing experience. Float pool may be required to work in different locations as needed. Weekends may be required based on staffing needs. Candidates must have skills in IV starts and telemetry. Experience with EPIC charting system is required. Preferred candidates should have previous charge experience. Patient ratios will be assigned according to unit staffing needs. Interdisciplinary support is available, including physical therapy and respiratory services. Special procedures for step-down/PCU-type patients will be involved. Candidates must manage various therapeutic modalities including but not limited to non-invasive airway management and cardiac telemetry. Wound care experience is required. Candidates must be prepared for a strict compliance deadline regarding credentialing processes. References from previous managers or leaders in a formal capacity are required. Education must be from an accredited nursing program.
