Accounting SpecialistLocation: Dallas, TX, Onsite during training; HybridPay: $25.00–$30.00/hour Depending on experienceSchedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMPosition type: Full-time, Temporary-to-HireReporting: Reports directly to the Controller/Accountant, working alongside 1 Property AccountantWhy you'll like this jobFlexible hybrid model allowing up to 2 remote days per week post-trainingGrowth potential with an expected pay increase upon full-time conversionSupportive team environment working directly with leadershipHigh-volume portal adoption that streamlines tenant collections and processingWhat you'll doAP Processing: Manage weekly payment runs, enter and submit invoices, verify accuracy, ensure correct G/L coding, and route approvals through property management accounting softwareAR & Tenant Payments: Oversee high-volume AR functions across a portfolio of 20 Multi-family, Commercial, and HOA properties, maintaining peak focus during the first week of the monthBank Activity: Record daily bank transactions and basic fees to support the Property Accountant's month-end reconciliationsSystem Support: Leverage a recently upgraded software ecosystem to drive portal adoption and efficient processingWhat you needExperience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on AP and AR experienceSoftware: Proven proficiency in property management accounting software is required (non-negotiable); basic Microsoft Excel skillsEducation: Associate degree requiredSoft Skills: High attention to detail, strong integrity, adaptability, team-first attitude, and reliable attendanceCompensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $25.00 - $30.00
