Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
• Comfortable working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
• Familiarity with IEPs and student goal documentation
• Current CPR certification

What You'll Do:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to students, adapting treatment plans to meet diverse physical and developmental needs
• Evaluate student progress and adjust interventions to encourage optimal outcomes
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
• Educate school staff and families on strategies to support student mobility and physical independence
• Maintain thorough documentation, progress notes, and required records according to school standards
• Stay current with best practices in pediatric and school-based physical therapy
• Engage actively in professional development opportunities offered by the school community
