Experience an impactful career opportunity supporting students as an Occupational Therapist in a contract position for the upcoming academic year. In this engaging school-based role, you’ll be a key partner in fostering students’ growth, helping them achieve greater independence and participation in the classroom environment.
What We're Looking For:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license
- Experience working with children or adolescents in educational settings preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to create and implement individualized treatment plans
- Familiarity with IEP process and goal-writing
- Adaptability and a genuine passion for making a difference
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans for students
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services to support students’ academic and functional needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate support strategies
- Document progress, attend meetings, and contribute to IEP planning and reviews
- Provide recommendations for classroom modifications and adaptive equipment as needed
- Maintain compliance with policies, timelines, and best practices within the school environment
