Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in Connecticut
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric environment preferred
- Knowledge of IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) and ability to work collaboratively on multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and families
- Ability to adapt activities and therapy plans for students with a range of physical, developmental, and medical needs
- Current CPR certification
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings and evaluations to assess students’ motor skills and physical functioning
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans aligned with educational goals
- Provide direct therapeutic services to students, focusing on strengthening, coordination, mobility, and independence
- Collaborate with educators and related service staff to ensure cohesive support for all students
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute comprehensive progress reports
- Educate school staff and families on strategies to enhance participation and safety throughout the school day
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with state and federal guidelines

Compensation for this position ranges from $37.90 to $67.90. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
