Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Connecticut
• Previous experience providing OT services in a school setting preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP processes, evaluations, and documentation
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, teachers, and parents
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload of students from PreK to high school
• Collaborative mindset and commitment to supporting students’ functional success

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct OT interventions to students as specified in their IEPs
• Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and other support staff to integrate strategies across classroom environments
• Monitor progress, adjust approaches, and maintain thorough documentation for compliance and reporting
• Support students’ participation in classroom activities, fine/gross motor skills, sensory processing, and self-regulation
• Deliver training and resources to staff and caregivers as needed to promote student growth and independence
