Qualifications & Preferred Background:

• Current Occupational Therapist license valid in Connecticut
• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy required
• Background in school-based OT services preferred
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs

• Pediatric and/or educational experience desirable

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine students’ individual needs
• Design and execute therapeutic activities that align with students’ goals

• Maintain accurate, timely records and documentation for all cases
• Educate staff and families on best practices for integration of therapy strategies in the classroom and at home
• Provide direct and consultative OT services to students, adapting as necessary to each child’s abilities
