Work Environment\n

This position allows for flexible remote work arrangements, providing you with the autonomy to create a conducive work environment that suits your needs while still engaging with clients effectively. Though you will primarily work from home, you will also have the opportunity to visit our outpatient office as needed, collaborating closely with a multi-disciplinary team of mental health professionals.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions to help clients address emotional and relational challenges around their needs.

• Carry out comprehensive assessments to gain insights into clients' mental health and family dynamics, leading to the creation of customized treatment plans.

• Employ family systems theory as a guiding framework to navigate complex relationship dynamics and enhance communication within families.

• Deliver immediate support and intervention during crisis situations, ensuring client safety and emotional stability.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client records, progress notes, and treatment plans, adhering to legal and ethical guidelines.

• Provide clients with education on effective communication techniques, conflict resolution strategies, and skills for emotional coping.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to ensure an integrated approach to client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including adults navigating relationship challenges, children, and adolescents facing emotional difficulties. Qualifications\n

• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Washington State.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
