Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to a rewarding elementary school setting just outside Charleston, WV! This contract role offers the chance to support young learners in their communication and language development within a welcoming, stable school environment.

Step into a vital position working with pre-school through grade 5 students. Your work will focus on a single location (not itinerant), ensuring continuity of care and meaningful relationship-building with students and school staff. The district operates on a hybrid schedule, balancing safety and connection. Both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows (SLP-CFs) are encouraged to apply.

What you should bring:

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Valid state licensure or eligibility in West Virginia
• CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred, but strong SLP-CF candidates will be considered
• Experience or passion for serving elementary-aged children
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and support teams
• Comfortable adapting within a hybrid on-site/virtual instructional model

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and deliver therapy for speech and language disorders
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Maintain compliant documentation and participate in IEP meetings
• Engage with families and educators to ensure comprehensive student support
