Make a meaningful impact by supporting elementary students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist serving the school year. This opportunity involves collaborating with a dedicated educational team to foster communication skills in preschool through 5th grade. Whether you're an experienced SLP or a Clinical Fellow (CF), you'll find a supportive environment as you help children achieve their greatest potential. This is a non-itinerant role, ensuring consistency and the chance to build meaningful relationships with your caseload.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language services to students in a school-based setting
• Collaborate closely with teachers, special educators, and families to develop and implement IEPs
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school requirements
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress
• Participate in team meetings and contribute expertise to enhance communication outcomes for students
• Adapt services to hybrid models as needed, remaining flexible in dynamic learning environments

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• State licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP in West Virginia
• Clinical Fellows (SLP-CF) are encouraged to apply
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Experience with elementary-aged students preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with educational staff and families
