Highlights Pay: $64.85/hour Location: New York, NY Facility: Mount Sinai Hospital Department/Unit: GP 9 Center Schedule: Full-Time, Night shift What You'll Do Deliver patient care using the professional practice model of Relationship Centered Care. Assess and evaluate patient care needs, applying critical thinking skills. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team on care plans. Educate patients and caregivers about their plan of care and health promotion. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team. Manage assignments within the Care Delivery Model of Modified Primary Nursing. Role model the tenets of Mount Sinai Relationship Centered Care. Initiate service recovery for patients and family members with concerns. Practice safe and efficient patient-centered care, identifying improvement opportunities. Document nursing practice to support quality and performance improvement initiatives. Requirements Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) acceptable if matriculated in a BSN program. Experience: Relevant clinical competence in nursing practice; new graduates must possess current knowledge of the nursing process.
