Duration: Permanent position

Shift: 3-4 clinic days/week, with dedicated OR days (~3/month)

Hours/Week: Approximately 12-14 patients/day, plus surgical and call responsibilities

Employment Type: Full-time

Licensure/Certifications: Vermont medical license preferred

Experience: Proven obstetrics and gynecology practice experience

Pay & Benefits

Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (based on salary range of $280,000 - $360,000 annually)

What You'll Do

• Provide comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology care to a diverse patient population
• Manage gynecologic consults from primary care providers and midwives
• Perform office-based gynecologic procedures, including minimally invasive and advanced laparoscopic surgeries
• Maintain surgical volume using three new operating rooms
• Support a birth center offering VBACs, water births, nitrous oxide, and 24-hour epidural services
• Provide backup for midwife-led obstetric care, including uncomplicated deliveries
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurse midwives, and medical staff
• Participate in a manageable, shared on-call rotation (1 in 4)
• Deliver evidence-based care within a state known for constitutional protections of reproductive rights

What You Need

Required:

• Medical license to practice in Vermont
• Proven clinical experience in obstetrics and gynecology
• Ability to manage a full spectrum of women's health issues

Preferred:

• Experience with minimally invasive surgeries
• Strong collaborative skills and commitment to patient-centered care
