What You'll Do:

• Collect blood specimens via venipuncture and capillary methods
• Perform waived laboratory tests (Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Molecular, Coagulation)
• Operate mobile lab van and navigate to high-volume STAT testing sites as needed
• Enter patient data and test results into lab information systems accurately
• Monitor quality control processes and instrument maintenance
• Troubleshoot equipment and computer issues
• Ensure specimen integrity and proper documentation
• Maintain inventory of supplies and comply with safety protocols
• Support other clerical functions related to testing and reporting

What You Need:

• Required: State-license or certification in medical laboratory technology (preferred but not mandatory)
• Experience: Basic laboratory, phlebotomy, or healthcare experience preferred
• Key skills: Attention to detail, ability to follow safety protocols, and effective communication
• Preferred: Experience with lab instruments and information systems

About the Assignment:

This role involves mobile laboratory services, providing high-volume STAT testing and specimen collection across the San Leandro area. Technicians will be responsible for sample collection, testing, quality control, and documentation, supporting a busy healthcare environment committed to timely and accurate results.
