Muskegon, MI, 1st Shift, $19.00 per hour

Job Summary

We are currently seeking an experienced and dependable MIG Welder to join a manufacturing team in Muskegon, MI. This position is responsible for performing MIG welding on metal components while ensuring quality workmanship and maintaining a safe work environment. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced production setting and have a strong attention to detail.

What You'll Be Doing

• Perform MIG welding on a variety of metal components and assemblies
• Read and follow blueprints, work orders, and welding specifications
• Inspect welds and finished products to ensure quality standards are met
• Operate welding equipment and other fabrication tools safely and efficiently
• Grind, clean, and prepare materials for welding as needed
• Maintain production goals while ensuring accuracy and consistency
• Follow OSHA/MIOSHA safety procedures, rules, and regulations
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S procedures and processes

What We're Looking For

Qualifications

• Previous MIG welding experience required
• Ability to read tape measures, blueprints, and welding diagrams
• Strong understanding of welding safety and quality standards
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
