divh2Press Brake Operator/h2pThe Press Brake Operator is responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend and form metal parts according to engineering drawings and production specifications. This role requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to produce high-quality parts while maintaining safety and efficiency./ph3Key Responsibilities/h3ulliSet up and operate press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal and plate materials/liliRead and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings/liliSelect proper tooling, dies, and machine settings for each job/liliMeasure, inspect, and verify parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, tape measures, protractors, etc.)/liliEnsure parts meet required tolerances, dimensions, and quality standards/liliPerform test bends and make adjustments as needed/liliMonitor machine operation and maintain consistent production quality/liliPerform routine machine maintenance and report equipment issues/liliMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work area/liliFollow company safety policies and procedures at all times/liliDocument production and inspection results as required/liliWork with supervisors, engineering, and quality teams to resolve production or quality issues/li/ulh3Work Environment/h3ulliManufacturing shop environment with exposure to noise, metal dust, and machinery./liliStanding for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs. may be required./liliMay involve overtime to meet production schedules./li/ulpRequirements/ppstrongRequired:/strong/pulliHigh school diploma or equivalent required/liliExperience operating press brake machines in a manufacturing or fabrication environment/liliExperience with Amada RG-80 Brake required/liliAbility to read and understand blueprints and shop drawings/liliKnowledge of metal forming processes, tooling, and materials/liliStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality/liliAbility to perform basic shop math and measurements/liliMechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills/liliAbility to work independently and meet production deadlines/liliAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods/li/ulpstrongPreferred:/strong/pulli13+ years of press brake experience/liliExperience with CNC press brakes (a plus)/liliFamiliarity with GDT and tight-tolerance work/liliForklift or overhead crane experience (a plus)/liliTrade school or manufacturing certification (a plus)/li/ul/div
