Location: Bridgwater Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm Salary: £27,500 per year Bonus: Uncapped personal and business performance bonuses OTE: £45,000 – £55,000 Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Benefits: Company vehicle available during working hours for client visits Driver Hire Bridgwater & Taunton is looking for a confident, people-focused Business Development Executive to help grow our client base across Bridgwater and the wider region. This is a role for someone who enjoys getting out, meeting businesses face-to-face, building relationships and winning new clients through a professional, consultative approach. You will be based at our main Bridgwater office, but a key part of the role will involve visiting local businesses, speaking with decision-makers and introducing Driver Hire as a trusted recruitment partner. This is not a basic sales role or a desk-based position. We are looking for someone who enjoys meeting people, asking good questions, understanding what businesses need and building long-term partnerships. The Role Winning new clients across Bridgwater and the wider region Visiting businesses face-to-face Building relationships with business owners, transport managers and decision-makers Identifying staffing requirements and recruitment opportunities Introducing Driver Hire’s services to local employers Following up with prospects and maintaining regular contact Working closely with the recruitment team to turn opportunities into successful placements Helping grow an award-winning local office What We Offer Uncapped bonus structure Realistic OTE of £45,000 – £55,000 Monday to Friday hours Company vehicle available during working hours for client visits Award-winning local office Support from the UK’s largest specialist transport and logistics recruitment company Genuine opportunity to make your mark in a growing region What We Are Looking For Experience in sales, business development, account management, recruitment or a client-facing commercial role Confidence meeting clients face-to-face A consultative, relationship-led approach A full, clean UK driving licence Ability to drive an automatic vehicle Be aged 23 or over due to company vehicle insurance requirements About Driver Hire Driver Hire is the UK’s largest specialist transport and logistics recruitment company.
