We partner with local, state, and federal resources to provide the training and support that produce a clear, permanent pathway from poverty to a life of prosperity, all under one roof.Description Job Summary: We seek a dynamic and organized Communications and Events Coordinator to join our team. This role will be pivotal in enhancing our brand visibility through strategic communication initiatives, engaging social media management, and the successful planning and execution of impactful events. The ideal candidate is a passionate storyteller with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Communications Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies to elevate brand awareness and engagement.
- Craft compelling content, including press releases, newsletters, and other communication materials, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Manage internal communication channels to foster organizational alignment and information flow.
- Social Media Management: Create and curate engaging and relevant content across various social media platforms.
- Actively monitor social media channels, promptly respond to inquiries, and cultivate meaningful audience engagement.
- Analyze social media metrics to evaluate campaign effectiveness and optimize strategies for maximum impact.
- Event Planning & Coordination: Plan, coordinate, and execute various events, encompassing all logistical aspects, vendor management, and budget oversight.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop innovative event themes, detailed agendas, and effective promotional materials.
- Ensure seamless event execution, consistently meeting and exceeding organizational objectives.
- Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the communications team, including scheduling, meeting organization, and document management.
- Maintain and update databases, meticulously tracking communication and event outcomes.
- Perform additional administrative tasks as needed to support team efficiency and effectiveness.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in communications, social media management, and event planning.
- Exceptional written, editing, and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in managing and analyzing social media platforms and analytics tools.
- Outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Experience with graphic design or video editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
- Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and project management tools.
- Strong creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
