Job Title Instructor - Part Time (Arabic Applicant Pool) Job Summary Classroom Instructor Job Duties Teaching multiple courses of Arabic at the postsecondary level. Required Qualifications A Master’s degree in any world language or any other discipline with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in Arabic or any other world‑language related curriculum, and experience teaching multiple courses of any world language at the postsecondary level. Will consider: Bachelor’s degree in any world language, or Bachelor’s degree in any other discipline with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in Arabic or any other world‑language related curriculum, and experience teaching multiple courses at the postsecondary level. Preferred Qualifications None specified. Key Skills Writing Skills: Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations. Communication Skills: Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from prospective and current employees, and groups of managers. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide with all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
