About the Team

The Office of the CEO operates at the center of Turing's highest-priority strategic initiatives. We partner across executive leadership while representing the company externally with investors, frontier AI labs, enterprise customers, board members, strategic partners, and industry leaders.

This team exists to create leverage for the CEO where the company's most important external decisions are made.
The Role

This is not a traditional Chief of Staff role. Rather than running internal operations, you will become the CEO's external force multiplier. You'll be in the room, at the table, on the plane, and in the follow-up thread for the most important external conversations the company has-with investors, frontier AI labs, Fortune 500 executives, strategic partners, journalists, and board members-and ensure those high-stakes conversations translate into impactful outcomes.

Often, successful candidates view this opportunity as an intense tour of duty. You will see and influence more consequential decisions in this role than most people experience in a decade.

Why This Role Matters

Over the next 12 months, Turing will navigate one of the most consequential periods in its growth. Success in this role will directly influence how effectively the CEO scales relationships with investors, frontier AI labs, strategic partners, and enterprise leaders while advancing the company's long-term growth strategy.

You will be a trusted strategic partner to the CEO on the company's highest-priority external initiatives. You will help execute Turing's next capital formation milestone, build repeatable systems for managing the CEO's most important external relationships, elevate the quality of executive materials and strategic communications, and independently drive company-defining initiatives on behalf of the CEO.
What You Will Own

• Lead Turing's Capital Agenda. Own the defining project of the next 12 months. You run the CEO-side process with the CEO and our advisors: investor target lists, sequencing, materials, data room coordination, diligence management, and relentless follow-through. You have seen a process like this from the investor side. Now you will help run one from the inside.
• Turing's External Narrative. Deliver the decks and memos for the meetings that matter most: investors, lab leadership, board, press, and strategic partners. You write at the level of the best investment memos you have read, and you build decks a CEO can walk into a room with-unedited.
• Drive Strategic Partnerships. Prepare, sequence, and drive follow-through on our largest commercial relationships with frontier labs-relationships that can reach nine and ten figures. Own pre-reads, stakeholder maps, term summaries, relationship context, and next steps that actually happen.
• Build Executive Relationship Intelligence. Build and operate the systems that ensure the CEO's highest-value relationships remain informed, intentional, and active. These relationships span researchers, human data and operations leaders, executives across frontier AI labs and enterprise customers, and the investor community. You build and run the system that keeps every one of them warm: briefing docs before every meeting, intelligence on what each person cares about, and follow-ups that land within 24 hours.
• Execute High-Impact Special Projects. Lead confidential strategic initiatives requiring judgment, discretion, and exceptional execution. Bring recommendations, not questions, and consistently deliver complete staff work.

What You Will Not Own

This role intentionally focuses on external strategy and execution. You will not:

• Own internal company operating cadence
• Manage executive calendars, travel, or administrative support
• Lead finance strategy or financial modeling
• Own GTM account execution
• Manage internal program management functions

Who You Are

• An investor and a dealmaker. You have 2-4 years in investment banking, growth equity, venture, or corporate development, and you have carried a live process to close. A background that combines finance or top-tier consulting with venture is ideal. What we are screening for is someone who has run something with a deadline, a counterparty, and consequences.
• A network multiplier. You build meaningful relationships across the venture and growth ecosystem-with partners, principals, founders, and rising operators-and your network expands ours.
• An elite storyteller. You write at the level of the best investment memos you have read. Your writing sample will matter more than your resume. You can distill a complex business into a narrative that investors remember, partners repeat, and executives can confidently take into the room.
• Organized to the point of obsession. Nothing you own gets dropped. Ever. You keep the CEO organized as a byproduct of keeping yourself organized.
• A magnetic connector. Dinners, conferences, board meetings, customer visits, demo days, and travel energize you. You are comfortable with the most senior people in the room and the EQ to put anyone at ease. With warm grounded confidence, you turn conversations into relationships. People seek you out, remember you, and take your call.
• AI-Fluent by design. You are fluent enough in the AI market to hold your own with lab leadership. RL environments, evals, benchmarks, what the labs are actually buying and why. You will be tested on this.
• Discreet by default. You will know things almost no one else knows. That information never moves.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a top-tier university with a strong record of academic excellence.
• 2+ years at a top-tier Silicon Valley venture firm-Associate or Senior Associate.
• Exceptional written communication skills with experience producing investment memos, board materials, executive communications, or strategic presentations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-priority workstreams with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to build trust across senior stakeholders.
• Ability and willingness to travel frequently for domestic and international to AI hubs and conferences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background that combines venture capital with prior experience in management consulting or investment banking.
• 2-5 years at a top-tier Silicon Valley venture firm-Associate or Senior Associate.
• Existing relationships within the Silicon Valley venture, growth equity, or frontier AI ecosystem.
• Experience supporting fundraising, capital formation, M&A, or strategic partnerships.
• Experience working directly with CEOs or executive leadership teams.
• Familiarity with enterprise software, AI infrastructure, or frontier AI markets.
• Experience preparing executives for board meetings, investor meetings, or strategic negotiations.

Before You Apply

• This role operates at the pace of the CEO. Capital markets, frontier AI labs, and strategic partners do not work standard business hours. Investor conversations may happen over a weekend. Critical negotiations may require immediate follow-up across multiple time zones.
• Extraordinary outcomes require extraordinary commitment, and we are transparent about those expectations. This is not a traditional Monday-through-Friday role, nor is it intended to become one.

Location & Work Model

• Full-time, in-office role with time in both our Palo Alto and San Francisco offices and the flexibility to support the CEO wherever business requires (transportation will be provided transportation between offices).
• Up to 75% domestic and international travel
• Flexibility to support global stakeholders across multiple time zones

Compensation & Benefits

The annual base salary range for this full-time position is $200,000-$250,000 USD . In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for variable compensation, equity and additional benefits.

Individual compensation will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and other relevant business considerations.
