We are seeking a skilled and motivated Surgical Physician Assistant to join our team and support our surgeons in both clinical and operative settings. Key Responsibilities * Assist surgeons in the operating room, including first-assist duties. * Conduct preoperative and postoperative patient evaluations. * Perform history and physical examinations, develop treatment plans, and manage follow-up care. * Order and interpret diagnostic tests. * Assist with procedures in clinic as needed. * Provide patient education and support throughout the surgical process. * Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and ancillary staff to deliver high-quality care. * Participate in call rotation as assigned. Qualifications * Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program. * Current PA-C certification. * State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant. * Prior surgical or inpatient experience preferred; new graduates with strong surgical interest will also be considered. * Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. * Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Schedule & Work Environment * Schedule will include operating room, inpatient rounding, and clinic responsibilities. * Call coverage as outlined by the practice. * Supportive environment with mentorship and opportunities for growth.
