Healthcare Attorney (Regulatory focus) - AM Top 50 firm

Our client is seeking a Healthcare Associate to join its established team in Nashville. This role focuses on advising healthcare clients on a wide range of regulatory, compliance, and operational matters in a complex and evolving legal environment. Responsibilities Advise healthcare providers and organizations on day-to-day operational and regulatory issues Counsel clients on provider and facility licensing, Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, and compliance with federal and state healthcare regulations Provide guidance on matters involving the federal Stark Law, federal and state anti-kickback statutes, and other healthcare fraud and abuse laws Conduct regulatory risk assessments and assist with government inquiries and enforcement matters Support clients on compliance strategies and policy development Assist with the regulatory aspects of healthcare transactions, including mergers and acquisitions Experience & Qualifications 3–6 years of experience in healthcare regulatory law at a law firm Strong background in healthcare compliance and regulatory analysis Experience with facility licensing, Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, and fraud, waste, and abuse compliance preferred Familiarity with healthcare privacy laws and regulatory considerations in healthcare transactions is a plus Exceptional legal writing, drafting, and analytical skills Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Demonstrated academic achievement and transferable legal skills Active license to practice law in Tennessee, or willingness to obtain licensure #J-18808-Ljbffr Permanent Placements LLC
