Data Privacy Analyst (NO C2C!)

The Privacy Analyst will support the implementation, migration, and operationalization of privacy technology solutions, with an immediate focus on automating consumer privacy request workflows through the implementation of DataGrail. Reporting to the Chief Privacy Officer, this role will help translate privacy and regulatory requirements into scalable operational processes, system configurations, and documented procedures that enable efficient, compliant, and auditable handling of consumer privacy requests. The ideal candidate combines privacy operations experience with project execution skills, technical aptitude, and the ability to collaborate effectively across Legal, IT, Information Security, Digital, Marketing, Customer Support, and other business teams. Key Responsibilities Manage the intake, tracking, and fulfillment of consumer privacy requests (e.g., access, deletion, correction, portability, opt-out, and related rights) to ensure compliance with applicable privacy laws during the transition to an automated solution. Lead implementation activities for the DataGrail privacy platform, with primary responsibility for configuring and deploying the Data Subject Request (DSR) module to replace existing manual processes. Partner with Digital, IT, Information Security, Product, Marketing, Customer Support, Loyalty, and other business stakeholders to gather requirements, resolve process gaps, and support successful implementation. Translate privacy regulatory requirements into standardized operating procedures, workflow designs, and operational controls for ongoing privacy rights request processing. Coordinate project activities by tracking milestones, deliverables, risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions to support successful implementation. Support user acceptance testing (UAT), workflow validation, data mapping, connector reviews, and system readiness activities. Identify opportunities to improve privacy operations through automation, process standardization, enhanced controls, and improved auditability. Assist with additional DataGrail implementation and migration activities, including workflow documentation, testing, issue resolution, stakeholder communication, and deployment support. Prepare project status reports, implementation documentation, issue summaries, recommendations, and leadership updates. Maintain documentation supporting audit readiness, privacy governance, and evidence of compliant request handling. Required Experience Experience supporting privacy operations, consumer privacy rights request processing, privacy program management, or privacy technology implementations. Working knowledge of consumer privacy regulations, including GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and other U.S. state privacy laws governing data subject rights. Experience supporting technology implementations or projects, including requirements gathering, testing, stakeholder coordination, issue management, and project tracking. Experience developing standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflow documentation, process maps, templates, or operational playbooks. Experience supporting SaaS implementations, workflow automation, system migrations, or business process transformation initiatives. Ability to understand and apply both privacy regulatory requirements and technical implementation concepts, including system workflows, data flows, testing, and operational controls. Experience with DataGrail or similar privacy management platforms is strongly preferred. Comfortable working with privacy technologies, workflow tools, SaaS applications, ticketing systems, and implementation teams. Ability to work independently while maintaining proactive communication with project leadership and stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Hands-on experience implementing or administering DataGrail, including Request Manager, DSR workflows, automated request routing, identity verification, or fulfillment management. Experience supporting privacy operations within a consumer-facing organization with multiple systems, business units, or brands. Familiarity with data mapping, Records of Processing Activities (RoPA), privacy impact assessments, data retention requirements, vendor management, and audit support. Experience with Jira, ServiceNow, SharePoint, Smartsheet, Microsoft 365, or similar collaboration and project management tools. Privacy certification such as CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT, or equivalent practical experience. Current-state and future-state process documentation for consumer privacy request management. Requirements documentation, workflow designs, testing artifacts, issue logs, status reports, and implementation materials. Updated SOPs, job aids, templates, and operational documentation supporting request intake, verification, fulfillment, escalation, closure, and record retention. Successful implementation support for DataGrail configuration, testing, migration, stakeholder readiness, and production launch. Recommendations to improve operational efficiency, compliance, automation, governance, and audit readiness.
