The ideal candidate will have affordable housing experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to support day-to-day property operations.Schedule & CompensationFull-Time: 40 hours per week Schedule: Monday–Friday Pay Rate: $20.00–$21.20 per hourEssential Job FunctionsAssists the Property Manager with daily property operations.Processes resident recertifications, rent calculations, leases, and required documentation.Conducts regular inspections of grounds and common areas.Monitors vacant units and make-ready status.Assists with rent collection, delinquency follow-up, and eviction procedures.Conducts resident home visits and community outreach as needed.Serves as a liaison between residents and community agencies.Assists with oversight of office staff, maintenance staff, and contractors.Performs other duties as assigned.QualificationsHigh school diploma required; some college preferred.Affordable housing experience required.Minimum 2 years of multifamily property management experience.Must have or obtain an Illinois Leasing Agent License within 6 months of hire.Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations.Strong customer service and attention to detail.Proficient with Microsoft Office and property management software.Vehicle, insurance, and good driving record required.Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.Employee BenefitsHHDC offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:Medical, Dental, and Vision InsurancePaid Time Off (PTO)Paid VacationPaid Holidays401(k) Retirement PlanShort-Term and Long-Term DisabilityTuition ReimbursementEmployee Assistance Program, if applicableOngoing Training and Professional DevelopmentOpportunities for Career GrowthSalary based on education & experience.
