Financial Analyst (I)Duration: 7 months contract (ends on 1st week of Mar)Location: MTV, CA (Hybrid-3 days onsite)Overall Responsibilities: The Financial Analyst will manage low-complexity, high-volume recurring monthly close, quarter close, and forecasting operations. In this role, you will execute forecast file roll-forwards, maintain PO and corporate card (gCard) tracking, complete forecast submissions, and prepare quarterly financial packages for department budget owners. You will serve as an operational anchor for core FP&A reporting, ensuring financial data accuracy and compliance across cost centers.Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:Execute monthly forecast maintenance, including rolling forward forecast models, forecast submissions, and updating PO/gCard mapping.Run Month-End Close (MEC) processes including BvA reports and Unbilled Supplier Tracker (UST) reviews.Communication with spend owners for UST review, departmental spend analysis and ad-hoc analysis requests.Mandatory Skills/Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.2+ years of experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or financial reporting.2+ years experience with month-end close workflows (BvA, variance analysis, GL mapping, and journal entry reviews).2+ years experience writing SQL queries to analyze large financial datasets.Advanced Google Sheets / MS Excel skills (index/match, pivot tables, forecast maintenance and data modeling roll-forwards).Experience working within ERP/Financial systems such as SAP.Non-Essential Skills/Qualifications: Experience working within Google/Alphabet financial systems.
