Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and assessments to determine patient needs and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Engage in crisis intervention and develop follow-up care strategies that ensure clients continue to receive the required level of support.

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on psychoeducation and process groups as key therapeutic modalities.

• Establish and maintain rapport with clients, employing effective communication techniques to foster trust and openness.

• Collaborate with Reentry Social Workers and other community services to facilitate smooth discharge planning and coordinate aftercare services.

• Participate actively in clinical rounds, case conferences, and treatment planning meetings to discuss current and potential clients receiving mental health treatment.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation to ensure compliance and quality of care.
\n
• Contribute to the development of group treatment programs and lead sessions within various units assigned by management.

• Possibly supervise social work interns or student volunteers, fostering the next generation of mental health professionals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on youth and families, especially teenagers and adolescents experiencing various mental health challenges. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will address issues ranging from anxiety and depression to family dynamics and interpersonal relationships, providing therapeutic interventions tailored to each client's unique circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California, or eligibility for licensure.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 52,000 to USD 70,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
