This position offers an opportunity to play a key role in the organization's financial strategy, sustainability, and long-term impact.The Finance Director will partner closely with executive leadership, the Board of Directors, and program leaders to ensure strong financial management, regulatory compliance, and effective stewardship of resources. This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys balancing day-to-day financial operations with strategic planning and organizational leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Leadership & StrategyLead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning initiatives.Monitor financial performance and resource allocation.Partner with executive leadership to support organizational strategy and sustainability.Provide financial guidance and analysis to leadership and the Board.Financial Management & ReportingMaintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial records.Oversee payroll and accounts payable functions.Develop and manage cash flow projections.Perform account reconciliations and prepare journal entries.Ensure compliance with GAAP, federal grant requirements, and regulatory guidelines.Prepare timely and accurate financial reports for leadership and the Board.Coordinate the annual audit process and IRS Form 990 preparation.Grant Management & ComplianceTrack grant awards, contracts, and funding requirements.Monitor grant budgets and expenditures.Ensure proper allocation and compliance of restricted funds.Prepare financial reports for funding agencies.Support grant-related audits and reporting requirements.Partner with program leaders to manage grant-funded budgets.
