Senior Accountant - $130,000

Job Description Experience: Senior Level Salary: $115,000 - $130,000 per year Location New York,NY, US Job Details This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in our company's financial operations. Reporting to the Assistant Controller. Responsibilities Own and manage key accounting functions, including Accounts Receivable, revenue, billings, collections, and general ledger activities. Execute month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, flux analysis, and financial reporting support. Analyze financial results, investigate variances between actuals and budget, and provide meaningful insights to leadership. Assisting in forecasting activities for revenue, billings and collections Partner with external auditors and assist with annual audit preparation and requests. Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and increased efficiency. Prepare ad hoc reporting and financial analysis to support business decisions. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Experience in both Public Accounting & private is a must (Big 4 preferable) Any experience with ERP Systems and CRM. (NetSuite, Salesforce is a plus but not necessary) CPA preferred A bit about us: A Software company seeks a Senior Accountant to join their growing team.
