Quick Facts Location: Atlantic City, NJ (1925 Pacific Avenue) Start Date: 06/23/2026 End Date/Duration: 6 months Shift: Days, Monday - Friday Hours/week: 40 Employment Type: Contract License/Certs: First Assist Certification with Robotics preferred; BLS/ACLS as standard Experience: Prior experience in gynecology surgery required Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $0.00 (Pay package discussed upon application) Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time per applicable laws Reimbursements for licensure, certification, travel, and other eligible expenses 24/7 dedicated team committed to your success What You’ll Do Assisting in robotic gynecological surgeries as a first assist in the inpatient OR setting Supporting experienced surgeons during procedures with surgical team Preparing and maintaining surgical instruments and supplies Ensuring compliance with hospital policies and safety standards Documenting procedures accurately in Cerner/Oracle EMR Collaborating with the surgical team to provide optimal patient care Handling 2-6 surgeries daily, primarily adult patients What You Need Required: First Assist Certification with robotics experience Valid NJ license or out-of-state license if already obtained BLS/ACLS certifications Minimum 2+ years of gynecologic surgical experience Preferred: Experience working with robotic surgical systems Prior inpatient OR experience About the Assignment This assignment involves providing first assist coverage for gynecological surgeries at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City and AtlantiCare in Pomona, NJ. The role is within a Level 3 trauma hospital, supporting robotic gynecologic procedures for adult patients. The staffing spans a 6-month period to fill a vacancy, with credentialing expected to take 2-3 months.
