Salary: $43,680-$47,840 annually (based on experience)
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our accounting team. This role is responsible for customer billing, cash applications, collections, and monitoring accounts receivable aging while partnering with internal teams to maintain strong customer relationships and ensure timely payment of outstanding balances.
Key Responsibilities

• Generate and distribute customer invoices.
  
  
• Process daily cash receipts and apply payments accurately.
  
  
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and assist with collections efforts.
  
  
• Partner with the Sales team to resolve outstanding balances while maintaining positive client relationships.
  
  
• Assist with general ledger activities and financial reporting support as needed.
  
  
• Maintain accurate customer account records and ensure timely follow-up on past-due accounts.
  
  

• 2+ years of Accounts Receivable experience in an accounting environment.
  
  
• Experience with billing, cash applications, collections, and AR aging.
  
  
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  
  
• Experience with ERP/accounting software (Great Plains preferred).
  
  
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  
  
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
