With a consistent weekly schedule of 37.5 hours, youll play a vital part in helping students develop essential communication skills.

What youll bring:

• Illinois State Board of Education Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Speech Language endorsement
• Active Illinois State License (IDFPR)
• Bilingual skills to better connect with diverse student populations
• Certification as an SLP-CCC; first-year SLPs (CF-SLPs) are encouraged to apply
• SLP-As will be considered if specifically indicated in your application
• Experience or enthusiasm for working with school-aged children in a supportive, educational setting

Your role will include:

• Conducting speech and language assessments in both English and another language, contributing to individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Delivering therapeutic interventions to students with communication disorders
• Collaborating closely with teachers, families, and support staff for well-rounded student care
• Maintaining thorough records of progress and supporting compliance with state educational guidelines
• Adapting to specific caseload assignments as determined by school needs
