This contract position is based in a welcoming school community near Arlington Heights, IL, with the flexibility of full-time (37.5 hours/week) or potential part-time scheduling. Key Qualifications:

• Holds an Illinois Professional Educator License with SLP endorsement and a current Illinois SLP license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
• Proficient in both English and Spanish to effectively serve bilingual student populations
• Prior experience in school-based settings preferred, specifically with middle school age groups
• Skilled in adapting to changing caseloads and working between school sites if needed

Responsibilities Include:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for middle school students
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans tailored to students’ unique needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and participate in team-based decision making
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
