This contract opportunity seeks a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) who is bilingual in Spanish and English to support middle school students. The assignment runs from 9/29/26 to 6/9/27, with flexibility for either full-time (37.5 hours per week) or part-time schedules. While the specific school site(s) will be clarified, the role may involve working at one middle school or across several locations.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement
• Active Illinois SLP license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
• Experience in a school environment is strongly preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with students, families, and staff

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and deliver direct therapy, focusing on a diverse caseload averaging around 45 students
• Provide targeted interventions to support communication and language development
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and advocate for students’ needs
• Offer consultation, resources, and guidance to educators and families
• Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
