Qualifications:

• Possession of a valid Illinois SLP license and Professional Educator License (PEL)
• Experience or strong interest in working within school settings
• Ability to conduct speech/language assessments and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Passion for empowering students in their speech, language, and communication development

Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based direct and indirect speech therapy to students with diverse needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals according to State and federal guidelines
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress and academic success
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, services, and progress reports
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide expertise in speech-language pathology
• Offer classroom interventions and consultative services for teachers as needed
