Key Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored, hands-on physical therapy to patients, ensuring that treatment plans are customized to meet their specific needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Manage a balanced patient load, dedicating the necessary time to each individual to provide focused, quality care.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic rehabilitation to assess patient conditions, creating effective treatment strategies informed by evidence-based practice.
• Incorporate non-surgical interventions and manual therapy techniques to alleviate pain, improve mobility, and enhance functionality.
• Develop comprehensive care plans that integrate various treatment modalities, including exercise regimens and wellness programs tailored to individual needs.
• Motivate and guide patients through their treatment journey with regular encouragement and constructive feedback.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, exchanging insights and feedback to ensure holistic patient care.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of treatment sessions, patient progress, and outcomes in accordance with organizational protocols.
• Continuously evaluate and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and the effectiveness of interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients requiring orthopedic rehabilitation, including those recovering from surgery, injuries, or chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Each patient presents a unique set of challenges and goals, offering a rewarding opportunity to apply your clinical skills and improve their functional abilities.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• An active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in Virginia.
• An impeccable professional history with no sanctions or board proceedings.
• Exceptional mastery of various manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation modalities.
• Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles, supported by the latest research and practices.
• Experience with EMR systems, particularly Web PT, for accurate and efficient documentation.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with advancements in physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• A background specializing in orthopedic outpatient care, with demonstrated success in developing and implementing rehabilitation programs.
• Experience working in outpatient settings, emphasizing a proactive approach to patient management.
• Familiarity with fitness and wellness programming to further enhance patient care beyond rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and expertise.
