Muscle Mastery Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Orthopedic Rehab Specialist to join our dynamic team in Centreville, Virginia. This full-time position focuses on providing personalized orthopedic care in an innovative outpatient homecare setting. As a key member of our therapeutic team, you will utilize your expertise to help patients recover their mobility and improve their overall quality of life, while conducting hands-on rehabilitation in the comfort of their own homes.

Work Environment

This role primarily involves onsite interactions with patients within their homes, allowing for a comfortable and familiar setting that enhances recovery efforts. You will have a structured work schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. Collaborating closely with a team of interdisciplinary healthcare providers, you will engage in ongoing education and share best practices to enhance patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to develop individualized treatment plans that align with their specific rehabilitation goals.
• Implement evidence-based interventions that prioritize non-surgical methods to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation modalities to provide tailored care and enhance patient recovery.
• Monitor patient progress through regular evaluations, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress using electronic medical records (EMR) software, particularly Web PT, to maintain compliance and manage care effectively.
• Develop education materials and provide guidance to patients and their families on wellness, strengthening, and injury prevention strategies.
• Actively participate in team meetings and case discussions to promote integrated care approaches among healthcare professionals.
• Motivate patients throughout their treatment journeys, building rapport and encouraging open communication.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries or managing chronic pain and injuries. You will work with a diverse age range, from young athletes to older adults, helping them overcome physical limitations with customized rehabilitation programs designed to restore function and enhance quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required to ensure a strong foundation in evidence-based practices.
• An active physical therapist license in the state of Virginia with a clean record free from sanctions or previous board proceedings.
• Exceptional skills in various manual therapy modalities and extensive knowledge of therapeutic exercise prescription.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly Web PT, ensuring accurate and effective documentation of patient care.
• Up-to-date knowledge of emerging physical therapy techniques and methodologies supported by current research.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in outpatient orthopedic settings, preferably in home care, is highly valued.
• A proven track record of designing and implementing successful rehab programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Experience collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
