Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite within the patients' homes in Chantilly, Virginia. By working in a home care setting, you will have the unique opportunity to create personalized therapy environments that meet each patient's needs. The typical work schedule runs from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, fostering a balance between professional commitments and personal life while extending your support to patients in their own settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Individualized Patient Care: Assess and treat patients based on their unique conditions and rehabilitation goals. Design tailored treatment plans that leverage the latest evidence-based practices.
• Manage Patient Caseload: Maintain a manageable patient load to ensure adequate time is devoted to the evaluation and treatment of each individual.
• Orthopedic Expertise: Utilize your specialized knowledge in orthopedic outpatient care to deliver exceptional therapy services that promote recovery and mobility improvements.
• Innovative Treatment Techniques: Implement cost-effective, non-surgical treatment alternatives, reducing the dependence on medications for symptom relief.
• Comprehensive Care Planning: Develop and execute detailed care plans that integrate multiple therapeutic modalities tailored to the patient's physical requirements.
• Motivation and Education: Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, while educating them on exercises and lifestyle changes that support their healing process.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with a multi-disciplinary team, including physicians and other healthcare professionals, to provide a cohesive treatment experience for patients.
• Performance Monitoring: Continuously evaluate treatment outcomes, track patient progress, and adjust care strategies to optimize rehabilitation effectiveness.
• Documentation Excellence: Maintain accurate records of patient experiences and outcomes using electronic medical records (EMR) software, particularly Web PT, to ensure comprehensive care continuity.

Our patients include individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain issues, and accidents. Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Currently possess an active Physical Therapist license in Virginia, free from sanctions or disciplinary proceedings.
• Proven competence in various manual therapy techniques and the ability to implement effective exercise programs.
• Familiarity with EMR software, particularly in Web PT for documentation purposes.
• Demonstrated engagement with current physical therapy research, incorporating best practices into patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in home care settings is a plus, enabling a seamless transition into our patient-centered approach.
• Experience working with a broad patient demographic is highly desirable, showcasing adaptability to different needs and conditions.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, dependent on experience and qualifications.
