Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team at Better Everyday Clinic. This full-time position is primarily focused on providing high-quality home care services to patients in Chantilly, Virginia. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a critical role in helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals and improve their quality of life through customized treatment plans.

Work Environment

This full-time position is onsite and involves visiting patients in their homes. You will enjoy the flexibility of choosing your own hours, with working days from Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Better Everyday Clinic, your responsibilities will include:

• Consulting with patients to assess their physical condition, symptoms, and specific rehabilitation needs.
• Diagnosing movement dysfunctions and developing individualized treatment plans aimed at enhancing mobility and alleviating pain.
• Instructing patients on the proper techniques for therapeutic exercises, ensuring they understand the importance of their rehabilitation exercises.
• Administering manual therapy techniques, including massage and mobilization, to relieve pain and promote healing.
• Assisting patients with the use of mobility devices, such as wheelchairs and walkers, providing guidance on their safe operation.
• Documenting patient progress and maintaining accurate records of treatment goals and outcomes.
• Educating patients and their families on home care strategies, including exercises and in-home treatment options to optimize recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients range from children to seniors, each with distinctive rehabilitation needs across various diagnoses including post-operative recovery, orthopedic conditions, neurological disorders, and sports injuries. As a Physical Therapist, you will customize your approach to cater to the individual requirements of each patient, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care tailored specifically for them.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Virginia.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer and word-processing proficiency for maintaining patient documentation.
• Ability to adapt and remain flexible in a dynamic home care setting.

Preferred Experience

We value practical experience and are looking for candidates that have at least 2 years of relevant experience in the field of Physical Therapy. Experience in home health care is an advantage but not mandatory. Compensation and Benefits
