Cora Physical Therapy Center in Dulles, Virginia, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in a full-time capacity. This outpatient role focuses on providing patient-centered rehabilitation services, emphasizing mobility restoration and enhancing quality of life. Work Environment

This position is based onsite, primarily within our outpatient clinic environment in Dulles. You will be working closely with a multi-disciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, athletic trainers, and other therapists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care. Your work schedule will typically fall between 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, allowing for a healthy work-life balance while meeting the needs of our patient population.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized physical therapy services focusing on clients' rehabilitation goals.
• Manage a balanced patient caseload, spending the necessary time to assess and address each patient's condition effectively.
• Implement evidence-based treatment plans that include a variety of therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient's unique circumstances.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises to promote pain relief, increased mobility, and functional independence.
• Monitor patient progress through regular evaluations, modifying treatment approaches as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
• Develop and lead comprehensive fitness and wellness programs, empowering patients to take charge of their health and maintain their progress post-discharge.
• Maintain precise documentation of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and facilitating effective communication within the healthcare team.
• Foster a supportive environment, motivating and encouraging patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, addressing any concerns or obstacles they may face in their recovery.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay abreast of the latest advancements in physical therapy and the best practices in patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves a diverse patient population, including athletes recovering from sports injuries, individuals post-surgery, and those dealing with chronic pain or mobility issues. We are committed to understanding each patient's background, challenges, and objectives to provide the most effective care. Our model emphasizes non-surgical alternatives wherever possible, aiming to restore mobility and function without over-reliance on medications.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active Physical Therapist licensure in the state of Virginia, with a clean record free of sanctions or disciplinary actions.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a proven track record of developing successful exercise protocols.
• Experience using electronic medical record systems, particularly WebPT, for accurate patient documentation.
• Commitment to continuous education and proficiency in current physical therapy research and practices.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient clinic setting, particularly in orthopedic care.
• Demonstrated success in developing individualized treatment plans and executing effective interventions.
• Experience working collaboratively with a range of healthcare providers to improve patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
