Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to the state practice acts and regulations to ensure compliance with all legal standards governing physical therapy practice.
• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of new patients, utilizing a combination of clinical judgment and relevant medical history to formulate individualized treatment plans.
• Design and implement evidence-based treatment protocols suited to the needs of patients based on their physical condition and rehabilitation goals.
• Document patient evaluations and treatment outcomes with precision and clarity, ensuring all records—ranging from initial assessments to discharge evaluations—reflect the comprehensive journey of care.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families, explaining treatment processes and expected outcomes to foster understanding and adherence to rehabilitation goals.
• Consult and collaborate with other healthcare professionals as necessary to optimize patient care and modify treatment plans based on evolving conditions.
• Assist in discharge planning, providing clear communication regarding follow-up care and ongoing rehabilitation needs.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program is required.

• A minimum of two years of experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy is required.
• A valid CPR certificate is necessary to ensure patient safety during treatment.

Preferred Experience
