The position is fully onsite, with therapists working directly in patients' homes across the Chantilly area. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical abilities and needs in a home setting.
• Design and implement customized treatment plans that utilize various therapeutic modalities such as exercise, stretching, manual therapy techniques, and the use of specialized equipment.
• Document each session meticulously, tracking patient progress, responses to treatment, and modifying treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving therapeutic goals.
• Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, mobility strategies, and the use of any assistive devices.
• Regularly reassess and redefine therapeutic goals based on ongoing evaluations to maximize patient recovery potential.
• Foster teamwork by collaborating with other health care personnel involved in the patient's care.
• Engage in continuous professional development, staying abreast of the latest therapy techniques and research to enhance clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographic includes a diverse range of individuals from children to seniors, encompassing various diagnoses and conditions. You will work with patients recovering from surgical procedures, managing chronic health conditions, or rehabilitating from injuries, ensuring that each person receives the specific interventions necessary for their recovery. Your contributions as a Physical Therapist will directly impact their ability to regain functionality and independence in their daily lives.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Must hold a valid physical therapy license in the state of Virginia.
• Strong proficiency in both written and verbal communication skills is essential.
• Proficiency in computer and document management systems for documentation and reporting.
• A high degree of flexibility and adaptability to changing patient needs.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply, though prior work experience is not mandatory.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role is highly competitive, ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
