Work Environment

This position operates onsite in the comforting surroundings of patient homes throughout Manassas, VA. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient screenings, evaluations, and diagnoses, developing tailored treatment plans that encompass appropriate physical therapy modalities and procedures.
• Advocate for patient-centered care by consulting, educating, and training patients and their caregivers on rehabilitation processes.
• Utilize your expertise to provide physical therapy care across a wide range of patient demographics: neonates, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations.
• Ensure the delivery of competent services including treatment while maintaining compliance with established productivity standards for the therapy department.
• Document patient evaluations and treatment interventions accurately and promptly, aligning with regulatory and departmental requirements.
• Engage with interdisciplinary healthcare providers, including physicians and nursing staff, to collaboratively address patient goals and needs.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, providing feedback on clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction metrics.
• Support department operations through oversight of scheduling, mentoring of staff, and involvement in the maintenance and use of therapy equipment.
• Lead efforts in program development and marketing strategies to elevate the physical therapy service offerings and increase patient referrals.
• Continually seek professional development and learning opportunities, contributing to the education and training of fellow staff members.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A current state Physical Therapist license is required.
• A Bachelor's Degree or higher (Master's or DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program.
• A strong clinical background with experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in outpatient or home health environments.
• Proficient physical capabilities including lifting, manual dexterity, communication skills, and mobility to effectively assess and treat patients.

Preferred Experience

• Two or more years of clinical experience in physical therapy, particularly with home care or providing services in community settings.

Compensation and Benefits
