Boost Therapy Center, Inc. is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapist for a full-time position based in our Fairfax, Virginia facility. This role is pivotal in providing exceptional care to our patients with orthopedic needs, focusing on their rehabilitation and recovery.

Work Environment

This position is located in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Fairfax, Virginia, characterized by a collaborative atmosphere and a focus on personal and professional growth. Operating hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions to develop tailored treatment plans that address their specific needs.
• Assess relevant medical histories and perform functional assessments to identify limitations and disabilities.
• Implement individualized treatment protocols based on evaluation findings and patient progress, adapting strategies as necessary in response to changes in their condition or requirements.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and document communications regarding patients' treatment plans and progress.
• Ensure accuracy in documenting all patient care activities, including initial evaluations, treatment plans, daily encounter notes, and discharge summaries, while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Participate in discharge planning and follow-up care to ensure patient continuity and support.
• Engage in facility team meetings to address patient access barriers and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain all required training and certifications pertinent to state, local, and federal regulations.
• Actively track patient progress and make data-driven decisions to enhance treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working primarily with adults experiencing a range of orthopedic issues, from post-operative rehabilitation to chronic pain management. Your role is crucial in helping patients regain functionality, improve mobility, and achieve their health-related goals, contributing to our overarching mission of fostering community wellness.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT).
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Active CPR certification.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, additional credentials or certifications in orthopedic specialty areas will be viewed favorably, as they demonstrate a commitment to advanced practice and patient care excellence.

Compensation and Benefits
