Position Overview

Willow Bridge Physical Therapy Services is on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our orthopedic outpatient practice in Fairfax, Virginia. In this full-time position, you will play a critical role in empowering patients to regain their mobility, enhance their physical health, and achieve their highest levels of functionality through personalized treatment plans and evidence-based interventions.

Work Environment

This position is onsite at our rehabilitation center located in the heart of Fairfax, VA. Our team consists of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), working collaboratively to promote optimal patient outcomes in a supportive and dynamic atmosphere. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial patient evaluations to determine individual goals, needs, and treatment plans.
• Manage a manageable caseload, seeing one patient per hour, to ensure quality and focused therapeutic services.
• Utilize various treatment modalities and techniques to improve patients' range of motion, mobilization, and overall physical health.
• Educate patients on their treatment plans and motivate them to optimize their recovery through active participation.
• Develop comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient's specific needs, incorporating strength, flexibility, and wellness goals.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic and effective patient care.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress updates accurately using WebPT EMR Software.
• Monitor and evaluate treatment outcomes, adjusting care plans as necessary based on patients' progress.
• Encourage and promote long-term health outcomes by demonstrating techniques to increase strength, balance, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily caters to patients with private medical insurance, focusing on those recovering from orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, and postoperative rehabilitation. Each patient is viewed as an integral partner in their recovery journey, and we pride ourselves on delivering personalized care that addresses their unique circumstances.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid Virginia state license as a Physical Therapist, with a clean professional record free of disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to design and implement effective exercise protocols.
• Capability to use WebPT EMR Software for efficient documentation and record-keeping.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable, enhancing your ability to make immediate contributions to our team.
• Experience in developing individualized wellness and fitness programs that have shown measurable success in improving patients' health outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
